Stancold’s food projects team are pleased to confirm the impending start of another local and exciting project within the dairy industry.
Supporting the food & drink sector across the South West has been an important part of Stancold’s principles throughout our 75 years in operation, working alongside them as they have grown in their own specialist divisions of the industry. In doing so, we have developed strong relationships with clients that are now into their second decade.
Situated less than 30 miles from our main office in Avonmouth, Stancold are now working with an award-winning, family-run dairy producer to complete the fit-out of a new temperature-controlled extension to their existing facility.
The team will be responsible for the panelling, doors and flooring in order to construct a freezer and chilled porch, fulfilling a design that will house over 1000 pallets of stock and optimise the client’s full production operation on site. Utilising the Kingspan Quadcore panel system with a food-safe finish and rapid rise freezer doors, the team will work alongside our approved partners in refrigeration and racking to together complete a turnkey solution.
Stancold’s Food Projects expert, Sam Taylor, has said “Supporting local food manufacturing businesses in their latest ventures, especially over a challenging 18 months, has been important to us and this contract is a fantastic example. Through a combination of virtual and on-site meetings with our client and sub-contractor partners, we have developed a programme that will successfully meet the requirements of the project.”
