Stancold will be working with a new client, a building contractor, in an upcoming firewall project in Wiltshire.
The client recently won the tender for the refurbishment of an army barracks and with Stancold specified as the preferred supplier of fire-rated partitioning, we will be working together to construct one separation wall to divide the space utilised for garaging military vehicles.
Eurobond Mineral Fibre 100mm panels will be installed to achieve a fire rating of up to two hours as well as fire boarding to the steel heads for maximum fire integrity. By using materials from market-leading UK manufacturers and also holding the LPS 1500: Issue 2 approved installer accreditation, our fire-rated partitions adhere to all building regulations regarding compartmentation walls.
With the project getting underway in October and installation planned for approximately one week, we’re looking forward to seeing the outcome and working with the client again in the future.
