This has been the case for a Kent-based client, a foodservice provider working with chefs across the South East, who are undergoing rapid expansion due to increased demand for their services. Taking place in phases, this initial project will act as a temporary measure until the further expansion phases can take place.
This work sees Stancold responsible for the design, supply and installation of a large freezer and accompanying chill store for dairy products, within a vast open warehouse not far from their existing site. Our team offered in-depth guidance on site during pre-construction meetings with the client, discussing the most suitable design options and working flexibly to adapt their requirements.
We were able to offer a full turnkey solution, where we have co-ordinated all other elements of the build alongside our own hygienic panelling and door work. This meant working with our trusted partners in refrigeration, racking, lighting and flooring, to achieve all details as per our bespoke design.
Once on site, our team installed over 700m² of Kingspan Quadcore panelling of 100mm and 150mm thicknesses, complete with a white food-safe finish, to form the two temperature-controlled areas, with accompanying sliding freezer and chiller doors.
With further expansion plans to be implemented, we look forward to working with our client again as they grow.
