Sub-Divisional Firewalls & Offices for New Industrial Units in the South West

Stancold’s firewall project management team are now underway in the preparations for upcoming industrial partitioning works within new-build warehouse units in Exeter.

Returning to us following satisfactory feedback on previous projects together, the build’s main contractor engaged with our industrial partitioning specialist, Shaun Jones, from the early stages of the tendering process, to explore different installation methods that matched the specified 60-minute fire ratings. Shaun was able to recommend both horizontal and vertical options, including all extras that form a turnkey package, and presented the most cost-effective solutions for consideration.

Once on site in April, Stancold’s LPS approved installation team will form a number of fire-rated composite partitions to sub-divide three large units into around 10 smaller plots with offices. Thanks to its unrivalled thermal and acoustic performance, the Eurobond Firemaster panel system will be utilised for these works, along with firestopping, to ensure that the completed structure meets Building Regulations and insurance requirements.

We’re looking forward to keeping you up to date on the progress here.
