Sub-Dividing Warehouse Partitioning Contract Complete in Ely

Stancold’s industrial partitioning team have successfully handed over at a new-build medical facility in Ely, following the design and build of a fire-rated warehouse partition to segment manufacturing and logistics space.

Working with the client’s appointed principal contractor in late 2021, the project was in the safe hands of our industrial partitioning expert, Shaun Jones, who engaged from the early stages. He was able to challenge the proposed specification in relation to the existing steelwork structure and saw it undergo a complete redesign with a new costing exercise. In turn, this meant that the works came in line with the client’s budget.

Stancold’s industrial partitioning team won this tender thanks to competitive costs and our willingness and flexibility to adapt to the changing specification and design to date.

With the adjusted composite wall specification of FR30, Eurobond’s Firemaster remained a sensible panel system selection for the job, along with firestopping, where the build also incorporated multiple door openings for personnel and large doors.

This was a successful opening contract for this large contractor and end client within the medical device manufacturing industry.
