Sub-Dividing Firewalls & Office Walls for Multiple Units, Harlow

Stancold are pleased to have been awarded the contract to complete the fire partitioning works for a number of industrial units in Harlow.

The project will be carried out with a main contractor, of whom we have worked with previously, and takes place on a newly built science park, on the same site as another recent firewall project for Stancold.

The works involve the sub-division of three new units along with the erection of fire-rated office walls, where our team are responsible for the design, supply and installation of a composite panel system to achieve the required fire ratings.

Stancold’s industrial partitions specialist, Shaun Jones, undertook a thorough site survey to assess all aspects of the work to be undertaken. Since the order has been placed, he’s been heavily involved in the design process with the contractor, offering guidance and advice on the necessary steelwork requirements.

The project itself will utilise the Eurobond Firemaster system, where composite panels of 150mm thickness will be installed vertically throughout the works in the three units, amounting to nearly 2000m² of partitioning across all areas. These walls are to be completed with fire boarding to the existing steelwork in order to achieve an overall one-hour fire-rating.

As LPCB Approved installers, our team will be providing our client with full certification upon project completion.
