It’s been a busy start to 2022 for our food projects team! As some great projects near completion, many new ones are set to start. This includes another exciting project within the seafood industry.
It’s a pleasure to be working with our client, a national project management company, once again. We’ve quickly developed a strong relationship with them following a series of successful fit-outs across the country, including a specialty food manufacturing facility in Birmingham. Through our collaborative approach, we are able to provide a turnkey solution for the end user.
With work already underway at another seafood project in the county, we’ll be travelling to Cornwall to complete this work. On this occasion, we are forming hygienic partition walls to segregate cooking and chilled areas. This will help to ensure that cross-contamination does not occur within their production line for crab products. Kingspan QuadCore composite panelling with a food-safe finish is the perfect choice for this application, due to its hygienic and insulated properties. We’re also responsible for the installation of four insulated hinged chiller doors, which will be installed alongside our partition walls.
This is not our first project for this Cornwall-based seafood company, where we’ve been providing the necessary support to help them optimise their facility’s operations through a series of different upgrades.
