With over 20 years’ experience of both installing and overseeing projects within the food & drink industry and a strong relationship with the client, Stancold’s Senior Contracts Manager, Sam Glover, undertook a detailed site inspection to assess the existing build and provide recommendations to remedy areas of concern, most of which have been subject to general wear-and-tear over time.

His report suggested the installation of additional overhead support from the roof purlins in areas where panels were beginning to sag, and delamination was present. Where these issues were more prominent, removing damaged panels and replacing with a new robust Quadcore alternative ensured the safety of those needing to access for maintenance.

To provide minimal disruption to day-to-day operations, the client implemented a three-day shutdown, so it was essential that Sam and our installation team worked efficiently to plan and complete all elements of the project as per their schedule.
