As a preferred contractor for the passive fire protection works within the ongoing transformation of four garrison towns in Wiltshire, Stancold are pleased to be confirmed on another project on site at Perham Downs.
As part of the Government’s Army Basing plan, the refurbishments across many areas of Salisbury Plain form new residential areas for returning Army personnel and their families, including schools and amenities.
Our work, however, is essential for the maintenance garages on site, used to house large machinery and plant. Stancold will be installing a one-hour firewall in this space, utilising the Eurobond Firemaster Mineral Fibre system, with panels of 100mm thickness. Firestopping will also be necessary to control the spread of flame across the entire structure.
A quick turnaround was required to begin the installation, so all hands are on deck to ensure we meet our client’s schedule and the works are completed successfully.
