External Waste-to-energy Firewalls
Stancold also hold strong expertise in the construction of external firewalls, specifically for waste-to-energy plants.
To ensure every client adheres to fire safety regulations on site, Stancold can install external firewalls between generators and reactors as well as other plant equipment, that will contain the spread of flame and act as a core barrier in the unlikely event of a fire outbreak. Where highly reactive substances are evident, we understand the importance of meeting industry regulations and always ensuring the safety of equipment and site operatives.
Using high-quality products from market-leading manufacturers, we can create bespoke external fire-rated walls to suit each site’s layout and project requirements. With fire-ratings up to 2 hours and externally treated finishes to withstand the elements, Stancold will install all steelwork and complete overcladding in steel to provide maximum durability and fire integrity.
