Stancold have secured another order from one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of clean air technology equipment. The project End User is a manufacturer of aeroplane parts, connectors and cables in Nottinghamshire.
The new cleanroom and annexed locker area will be built from 80mm and 200mm thick PIR panels finished with white PVC laminate finish. The design challenge was meeting the required insulation value as well as ensuring suitable loadings for the self- supporting ceiling. Airlocks between single and double hinged doors will ensure safe movement between the controlled room and attached changing area. Works are due to start in August.
