Puracore Cleanroom Build for Lifesciences Developer, Cambridge

Stancold are pleased to report of another upcoming project for our cleanroom team, where the works have been confirmed to start in October.

Boasting strong installation expertise of the Puracore cleanroom panel system and a successful working relationship with the project’s main contractor, Stancold were awarded the contract to complete the cleanroom fit-out for a leading life sciences developer and manufacturer at their UK base in Cambridge.

Pre-tender meetings took place before and during the height of the COVID-19 lockdown, so ensuring that these were conducted safely, mainly online, were paramount to make sure that planning could continue according to the end user’s timescales.

Stancold will be responsible for the supply and installation of approximately 300m² of Puracore 50mm and 17.5mm panels to transform a currently redundant area into a high-specification cleanroom. The estimated two-week build will take place on the first floor of the building, where the team will utilise a hoist to crane materials into the area. This, of course, brings additional health & safety considerations, where systems will be implemented by our project management team.

We look forward to updating our progress on this project once the build is underway.
