Following the successful build of their production facility around 5 years ago, Stancold were pleased to be asked to undertake further works on site for a local dairy customer.
As their business goes from strength to strength, the client required an extension to their existing facilities and additional product storage. A site visit was undertaken by Stancold’s food & drink specialist, Sam Taylor, and Senior Contracts Manager, Sam Glover, to accurately assess the requirements and provide advice for the workaround where a new mezzanine floor is also being built.
The installation itself will utilise the Kingspan QuadCore panelling system and a number of Eurobond Firemaster Mineral Fibre panels, in an area where fire integrity is a consideration. The team will also integrate sliding chiller and hinged personnel doors to complete the build. Alongside the hygienic fit-out, Stancold will be completing other remedial works, which includes relocating existing doors, to be able to work within our client’s scope and budget.
Our team are due on site imminently for the two-week build, where our flexibility in working alongside other contractors’ and our client’s schedule has been a key element to the project start.
