Stancold are delighted to have returned to a medical manufacturing site in Plymouth, to carry out yet another phase of work. Following the successful completion of the installation of a number of freestanding part-glazed partitions, our team were trusted to deliver a one-hour firewall to segregate two areas within a large warehouse on site.
Prior to the order being placed, Stancold worked collaboratively with the client to provide a number of flexible solutions for a variety of different layouts and once the final scheme was agreed, the project team carried out a comprehensive site survey to confirm details.
Our strong relationship with the end user ensured we were the nominated contractor during this phase and onward positive feedback from the main contractor during this time encourages an invitation to complete further works on site.
This week-long installation itself included over 300m² of Isoclad non-combustible panels to form a 60 minute fire-rated segregation partition.
Working in a clear area on site, the team ensured special care was taken regarding firestopping from the top of the panel to the roof, where the wall was only able to reach the building trusses, so it was crucial that the fire rating was still achieved.
Stancold are able to offer a number of insulated and composite panel systems for a variety of applications within the pharmaceutical and medical industry, including fire-rated properties or flush glazed systems.
