Taking on the Macmillan Wye Valley Mighty Hike This September

We’re just over five weeks away now from taking on our next team challenge and some would say we really have stepped it up a notch, after our previous 14-mile Pen Y Fan hike and the Bristol 10K Race.

On 7th September, alongside hundreds of other like-minded fundraisers, Team Stancold will be taking part in the Macmillan Wye Valley Mighty Hike, a 26-mile walk from Chepstow to Monmouth across the beautiful Tintern Abbey.

Macmillan Cancer Support provide physical, emotional and financial support to those faced with cancer, operating local information centres, online resource packs and organising vital fundraising events across the country to continue to be right there for patients and their loved ones.

Our team of 6 – Andy, Lee, Sarah, Sam, Stacy & Donna – will have their walking boots at the ready, armed with full determination (and plenty of snacks) to complete the marathon course for this fantastic cause, one that’s close to all of our hearts.

We’re getting closer and closer to reaching our donations target and would really appreciate any change that you can add to the pot – take a look at our JustGiving page here.

Thank you in advance for your support and please pray for some dry weather!
