As Stancold continues to strengthen its position in the market as a multi-disciplinary contractor and defines its three core service offerings within industrial fit-outs and controlled environments throughout 2024 and beyond, the business is pleased to have expanded its Marketing team with the addition of Dan Bartfield as Assistant Marketing Manager.
As a role specifically dedicated to the management and maintenance of Stancold’s 75-year credibility of construction services to the UK’s food & drink manufacturing industry, Dan has hit the ground running in his brief time so far to understand the nature of the business and strategise its future approaches to marketing to develop new customer relationships.
“I’m really enjoying the dedicated marketing focus of my role within Stancold’s Food Projects division and how this differs from the other departments of the business.” Dan says. “I’m keen to ensure that we have cohesive marketing messages that are based on understanding and solving problems faced by businesses in the food & drink manufacturing sector.”

Originally from New Jersey, Dan’s been in the UK for nearly 3 years, coming over initially to study for his Master’s degree at Swansea University, which was followed by a role as Product Marketing Manager at a Welsh access equipment manufacturer.
“The similarities between the values of my previous employer and Stancold is that both have a solutions-focussed approach to their offering and genuine commitment to meeting the direct needs of clients. This is important for the bespoke nature of Stancold’s operation and shines through every member of the team here.”
Following his move to Bristol at the start of the year, Dan is spending his evenings and weekends exploring the city, especially its busy live music scene and fantastic hospitality venues! Sometimes this involves reading in his local coffee shop, a New Years resolution from 2019 that he has stuck with ever since, dabbling in both fiction and non-fiction literature.
Away from this, Dan likes to follow PGA Tour events across the year and listens to a lot of 60s, 70s and 80s music, such as Duran Duran, Brian Ferry and The Who, influenced by his parents!
