Introducing Alex Vittle, HSEQ Manager

As a growing business with a multi-disciplinary approach to construction, our focus on the health and safety, environmental and quality management remains a top priority. With this in mind, we are proud to have appointed Alex Vittle in the role of HSEQ Manager this year to oversee these vital aspects of our business operations.

Now a few months into his role, Alex is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the business’ integrated management systems across health and safety, environmental and quality. This includes our SSIP certifications (CHAS, SafeContractor etc), carbon neutrality credentials and ISO 9001 accreditation.

“Stancold is a fast-paced business, and I enjoy learning more about the industry and how the team utilises its core product, to create such innovative solutions for clients”, says Alex. “It’s been a positive challenge and a welcome change of pace for me to learn about the variety of ways composite panel systems can be used for different applications.”

Alex Vittle, HSEQ Manager

Alex brings 15 years of experience in the niche sub-contractor business, having previously worked for a small but prestigious architectural pre-cast cladding and external façade company. His previous role provided hands-on experience in quality, health & safety and site management. He joins Stancold eager to progress his career and specialist knowledge.

“Our clients will probably hear from me, or meet me on site, as I implement bespoke Safe Systems of Work for each contract, and carry out key health, safety and quality assessments of not only our own work but that our supply chain.”

When he’s not developing method statements or process flowcharts, Alex is an avid reader and has an extensive Kindle book library that he’s working his way through, while also spending time with his young family. Rugby is Alex’s sport of choice and while he doesn’t play as much as he used to, is a Bristol Bears fan and supports his local team, North Bristol RFC, as much as he can. That’s only right when you’re Bristol born and bred!
