Our extensive experience in working in the warehousing industry has led us to form long-standing relationships with a range of leading building contractors. This includes a West Midlands-based contractor, who we have worked with across a number of projects in industrial and commercial warehousing.
Our latest confirmed project with this client is sited in Cannock, where they are working with the developer of a new industrial facility. Stancold will be supplying and installing over 650m² of fire-rated partitions to separate the main warehouse from office space.
Stancold’s composite panel systems and similar products are widely used by contractors for this type of application, as they bear many advantages compared to traditional alternatives including cost-effectiveness and efficient installation time.
The team will be installing Eurobond Mineral Fibre 100mm panels, constructed horizontally, to achieve a fire rating of up to two hours. Firestopping, which includes batt to top and sides of the partitions, will also be completed for maximum fire integrity.
Design team meetings have been underway in preparation for construction to start later in September.
