As an independent installation contractor, we’re always able to use our strong expertise and technical knowledge of market-leading panel systems to work to our clients’ requirements. This can be based on our team’s recommendations for the most suitable solution or our clients’ specific preferences for the job.
The latter approach has been taken for an upcoming project for Stancold’s cleanroom team as we prepare to work in Plymouth this month.
Having successfully worked with the end user previously, Stancold were recommended for this project as the supplier and installer of a number of freestanding partitions on site, and will be collaborating with a new construction contractor to achieve this.
Separating work areas and machinery, the partitions will be installed with flush vision panels and be made up of the Puracore panel system with panel thicknesses of 50mm and 80mm. As an FM approved system, this is in line with the end user’s building insurance requirements, while also being their preferred product for the works. We have utilised white painted 50mm x 50mm steel box section posts in order to fully support the freestanding walls and maintain a flush finish.
Following an initial quotation based on site drawings, Stancold’s project management team attended an introductory meeting with the contractor and end user before undertaking a site survey to confirm spatial requirements and finalise details before getting started with the construction drawings.
These works are expected to take one week and we look forward to providing updates on the team’s progress throughout August.
