We’re pleased to have worked with one of our long-standing customers in Devon recently, as the vegetable box supplier underwent an extension to their chilled facilities on site.
During initial discussions, Stancold’s specialist food & drink team, Sam Taylor and Sam Glover, went to site in order to discuss Stancold’s capabilities in adapting the existing frame of their chiller to complete an extension. In doing so, they also accounted for logistical considerations of the build and the appropriate materials for the job.
As part of this project, Stancold’s installation team have been responsible for removing an existing wall within the facility, before constructing another partition and ceiling to form the extension. The team also removed and re-installed a rapid rise door and hinged personnel door as well as integrating two single glazed vision panels. To ensure a food-safe finish, the Kingspan Quadcore system has been utilised throughout the complete fit-out.
