As a Taste of the West member ourselves, it’s always a pleasure to work with local food & drink producers in the South West. This time around, we’re working with a project management and construction services company to install a freezer unit and chiller for a fish merchant in Cornwall. These facilities will allow them to store their seafood products at an optimum temperature.
Kingspan’s QuadCore system is being utilised once again for its reliable performance and versatility. Should the end user wish to reconfigure their space in the future, the panels can be deconstructed and resealed. As part of our package, rapid-rise and hinged freezer doors are also being integrated alongside the composite panel fit-out.
Prior to this project, we had completed some initial work at the same site. After working with alternative contractors as well as ourselves, the client was confident that Stancold could provide the best solution.
Our work is 75% complete on site; concrete flooring is soon to be installed as the final feature of our build. We look forward to handing over to a satisfied client in the near future.
