Firewall Partitioning in 600 Acre Distribution Development in Avonmouth

Stancold will be working with a national construction contractor this November as we complete industrial partition and firestopping work across 5 separate units in a new warehouse and distribution park development.

Larger than the size of Monaco, the 600-acre development in Avonmouth is already housing a number of retailers and logistics providers, with other units on site built speculatively. This includes the five buildings that our team will be working on, which average at around 2,000 sq ft each.

In our first project working with the client, Stancold will be supplying and installing fire-rated panels as well as corresponding firestopping products to partition each unit, forming office spaces. The team will be working with 100mm thick Eurobond Firemaster Mineral Fibre Cored panels to achieve fire ratings of up to two hours, installing panels horizontally due to the height of the buildings. This will be accompanied by all firestopping works including deflection to the head of each partition and intumescent batt.

As LPS 1500 certified installers, one of only a few in the UK, Stancold have extensive experience and knowledge in constructing fully regulated fire-rated partitions and enclosures for warehouses and distribution centres. Using only market-leading materials from UK suppliers, quality is never compromised with a Stancold installation.
