Phase 2 commences in Chesham, as we continue to complete the installation of multiple fire-rated division walls across three new-build warehouses. A total of 11 units will be created as a result of sub-dividing the space.
Our client, the project’s main contractor, were initially in discussions with our team prior to the pandemic. Despite the project being put on hold for many months, it’s fantastic to now see that it’s back on the intended path.
Our industrial partitions expert, Shaun Jones, met with the client’s design manager to assess the most effective fire-protection solutions for this project. Previously using jumbo stud for their builds, the client opted to use a composite panel system for the main partitions due to its versatility and high performing properties. Eurobond’s Firemaster system was allocated as the perfect solution to achieve the desired 60-minute fire-rating across all partitions.
6 of the units are completed so far, with the remaining 5 to be handed over this month. Our projects team have worked well to overcome many hurdles throughout this project, whilst ensuring the client remains completely satisfied. Positive progress so far has given them confidence to open discussions about exciting new projects. We look forward to seeing what the future holds!
