Fire-Rated Compartment Walls for Swindon Warehouse Unit

At Stancold, we pride ourselves in developing long-standing relationships with our clients, so that we can continue to assist as they grow and change. Our team are committed to working closely with clients every step of the way to ensure our work meets their specification and budget.

We were therefore very pleased to have worked with a returning client, Howard Tenens, recently, as they undertook modifications to an existing warehouse within their vast property portfolio. Based in Swindon, the vacant building was to be divided and occupied by new tenants, so two new compartment walls were required to create three smaller units.

As per any Stancold project, a site survey was carried out by our industrial partitions specialist, Shaun Jones, to discuss initial plans for the project, as well as determine a suitable design for the large, yet long, shape of the building. Working to their tenancy schedule was important, where the team demonstrated flexibility in catering to their needs.

Once on site, the team completed the seamless installation of two 60-minute fire-rated compartment walls. With open access to the entire space, the job was efficiently completed in just one week, utilising approx. 200m² of Eurobond Firemaster Mineral Fibre panels and accompanying fire boarding to protect the existing steelwork.
