Artisan Bakery

Background

An artisan bakery company based in Somerset approached the Stancold team to build a new production facility so that they could expand their business.

Process

Our team worked with the management team at the bakery to design and install a layout for a walk-in freezer, chiller store, hygienic storage and production areas, changing rooms and a stairwell over two levels in the newly built facility.

Stancold’s project managers collaborated with the customer to devise the best design for the new facility to run most efficiently.

Project Delivery

Our Food Projects team worked alongside the appointed builders of the facility to install all the necessary whitewall partitions and cold store solutions to suit the client’s needs and meet the timescales of both the builders and the client.

Our installation included over 1,000m² of whitewall panelling (in three different thicknesses), PVC strip curtains, sliding chiller and freezer doors, a modular heating mat, and concrete flooring.
