60-Minute Sub-divisional Wall for Industrial Warehouse

Patrick Nicholas Properties approached Stancold after learning about our technical expertise and proven track record in fire-rated partitioning. They were undertaking key renovations within their existing warehouse in Bracknell to prepare the space for a new tenant.

Process

The project required a sub-dividing partition wall to create two distinct, compliant lettable spaces within the warehouse. With a tenant ready to move in, the client needed a contractor to work quickly to handover the project in a strict 1-week timeframe.

Stancold conducted a thorough site survey prior to beginning the works, as standard on all our firewall contracts, and had identified structural anomalies that needed resolving before the installation start date.

• Working around existing furniture and the building’s steelwork structure without disruption

Project Delivery

Our team had successfully settled the previously identified structural anomalies prior to the date of installation. We decided to use Euroclad Firemaster panels to achieve the desired fire-rating. We worked around the existing steelwork structure of the building and installed the panels vertically, accompanied by firestopping to the joints and head of the wall for maximum fire integrity.

Despite existing furniture remaining in the unit throughout, the team remained spatially aware and worked efficiently to complete the entire package in just 1 week and adhering to the client’s tight timescale.

The result was a swift, professional delivery that enabled Patrick Nicholas Properties to welcome their new tenant without delay.
