One Hour Firewall & Offices for Production Factory, Wales

We have worked with Rehau on a previous project and they knew they could trust our team to help with the expansion.

Process

To enable them to set up a new production line for their UPVC window extruder manufacturing, we installed a one hour firewall to separate production from the factory, accessible through two fire rated personnel doors. We also installed panels to create a series of office spaces, one with a mezzanine floor.

Solution

Our first challenge was ensuring that the installation was of minimal disruption to the rest of the factory. We coordinated closely and communicated regularly with the factory manager so that our experienced team completed the firewall installation, fire-batting and openings for doors in just four days, enabling the Rehau team to continue their work.

The offices were designed to fit into the existing spaces and provide a suitable working environment for staff.
