Abattoir Facility Fit-Out

Redman Construction

Background

Stancold’s Food Projects Team was approached by Redman Construction, working on behalf of a meat production company based in Sheffield, to fit out their abattoir facility.

Process

The end user needed multiple whitewall partitions fitted to meet their production requirements. They wanted to include a viewing area with windows to safely show visiting clients the abattoir facilities. That way, visitors could view the production rooms clearly without needing to wear the necessary PPE.

Project Delivery

Stancold were able to install the requested whitewall partitions and the viewing room adherent to the design agreed upon by all parties. The construction schedule was altered by the end user due to unforeseen circumstances, but we stayed on hand and were able to finish the project efficiently and thoroughly once they were ready for the installation to continue.

The project ended up requiring over 5,000m² of whitewall panelling and over twenty specific door fit-outs. Despite the schedule alterations by the end user, Stancold made sure to see this abattoir facility installation through to the end, working around the client and end user’s timelines. We were pleased to do our part in getting the abattoir up and running for Redman’s client.

Andy Connell

We were happy to accommodate the end user’s schedule to get this project completed.
