Therefore, we were delighted to work with one of our preferred refrigeration contractors once again this quarter, to complete the build of a freezer for a leading beverages distributor in Reading.
Thanks to a good working relationship and prior understanding of how we both work, the negotiations and planning for this project proved to be a smooth process. This continued as part of the main build schedule, so that the refrigeration equipment could be installed in a timely manner to the room envelope.
The freezer itself was constructed using Kingspan’s QuadCore panel system, a recommended specification for temperature-controlled environments due to its superior insulating properties and food-safe panel finish. Sliding and hinged freezer doors were also integrated into the facility alongside strip curtains to reduce temperature loss.
Our client was able to move their product, raw fruit ingredients, in soon after with subsequent mezzanine works able to commence.
