Worlds disadvantaged was a cause identified by People with Faces during February, specifically individuals with mobility difficulties in some of the poorest parts of the world. People with Faces helped two individuals with mobility difficulties, Benjamin an eight year old boy with a spinal cord injury from Uganda and Jacques a Peer Training Co-ordinator from South Africa.
People with Faces identified a need in both individuals so funded a new wheelchair for Benjamin that was tailored to meet the needs of his spinal cord injury. For Jacques, the campaign sponsored him for two months in order for him to empower, teach and be a role model to over 283 disabled individuals.
