Returning customer, Dow Corning, a global leader in silicon-based technology and products have contracted Stancold to provide a number of acoustic enclosures at one of their largest manufacturing site in Barry, Wales.
Scope of works involves the design & build of 4 acoustic enclosures consisting of galvanised perforated metal panels with sound absorbing mineral fibre cores suitable for the enclosure of large machinery. Stancold will use highly efficient, custom-made acoustic panels produced by Gilcrest Manufacturing. In order to provide easy access to the machinery without compromising on the noise reduction, Stancold are installing handles on the front panels for easy removal and quick relocation.
Works are commencing at the end of July.
